The world requires knowledgeable leaders to work with businesses, communities, governments, and civil society to address the climate crisis. 

Columbia University has long worked at the forefront of sustainable development issues through its research centers and graduate programs. In recent years, the University began incorporating this work into its undergraduate degree programs. Currently, the Office of Undergraduate Programs, in collaboration with affiliated departments, offers a major,  special concentration, and minor in Sustainable Development as well as a major in Climate and Sustainability.

Columbia Climate School's undergraduate degree programs provide an interdisciplinary knowledge base for climate and sustainable development leaders with diverse interests and backgrounds.
