As COP30 approaches, Columbia Climate School continues its Countdown to COP30 series with a forward-looking dialogue on the School’s strategic contributions to the conference and beyond.

Strategic Visions: Columbia’s COP30 Priorities will explore how Columbia’s research, policy engagement, and educational leadership are helping shape the COP30 agenda—particularly around finance, food systems, climate extremes, resilience, adaptation, and energy. The event will also examine the critical role universities can play in advancing accountable and equitable climate finance solutions, supporting transparent implementation, and driving long-term global impact.
